The numerical revolution is impacting Industry in general and the Process Industries(PI) in depth; the way PI manage their operations (Manufacturing), their relationship with their customers and their stakeholders..New jobs (digital officer, Data scientist…) become of major importance ,while robotization will eliminate low skilled jobs, the balance on employment being uncertain.
Digitalization is also changing Societies , everybody’s life with a major concern about privacy.
